Things you can’t do during a power outage:
* Take a shower (pump doesn’t run, although you can use your gayung to pour water over yourself)
* Do laundry
* Dry your hair
* Use a rice cooker
* Charge your phone battery
* Take a nap (if it is too hot; AC & fans don’t run; if you went outside, the cars, motorcycles, & people walking by would be a hindrance)

Since it is 1 week since we got the little seabass, it was time to grade them. [grade=to separate by size so the big ones won’t eat the little ones]. Ze good news is that there are still lots of them. Ze bad news is that they hadn’t grown; except for about 50 of them (out of 5000). So obviously, something had to change. I decided to put some of them directly into the ponds and leave the rest in the net pens with more elbow room. So we moved 2 batches to Pond #5, 2 batches into Pond #1, and left 3 batches in the net pens. Ponds #1 and #5 have lots of little tilapia and little shrimp for the baby seabass to eat, so hopefully they will do well. I told the guys to feed the ones in the net pens more often. Next week we will grade the ones in the net pens again. If they still haven’t grown, they may get moved into Ponds #2 and #4. Pond #3 is the one with the seaweed (Gracillaria) and once it is established, we will add shrimp.

I'm glad to hear they are still alive! I was getting depressed over some of those prior reports!
